Neighborhood Watch is a crime prevention program which enlists the active participation of residents, in cooperation with law enforcement, to reduce crime in our community.
Dixie Canyon Neighborhood Watch encourages neighbors to get to know each other and work together in a program of mutual assistance. Our goal is for residents to recognize and report suspicious activities in our neighborhood.
We are neighbors looking out for each other! Anyone can participate …residents young or old, single or married, renter or homeowner!
Why Neighborhood Watch?
There can’t be an LAPD officer on every corner, so citizen involvement is essential to combat crime. By cooperating with each other and law enforcement, people can help fight crime in their community the most effective way – before it begins!
Neighborhood Watch can also help us be prepared for earthquakes, fires and other risks.
